Meet Our Dentists

Dr. Rosen graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1973. He was a dental intern at Long Island College Hospital from 1973 to 1974. He also received a certificate for completing a course at the New York Institute of Clinical Oral Pathology. Since 1983 he has been on staff at Virtua Health Systems (formerly West Jersey Hospital) in the dental residency program. He was named teacher of the year in 1987, 1998, and 2001. He has been accepted as an expert in general dentistry by the New Jersey Superior Court System and has been asked to testify in numerous court cases involving dental evidence. He has been an advisor for the Department of Health and Human Services.

Dr. Dworkin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1982. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program in 1983. He was an assistant professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania until 1996. He worked in the faculty practice from 1983 to 1996 at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also served as the director of students. He received the Earl Banks Hoyt Award for teaching excellence in 1989. He was one of 30 members throughout the U.S. and Canada on the Council for Innovative Dentistry for the 3M/ESPE Corporation, an advisory committee for product development and evaluation. Dr. Dworkin is an Invisalign Preferred Provider.

Drs. Rosen and Dworkin have both been honored with Fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Dentistry International. A fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry is held by approximately 10 percent of all dentists in the U.S. It represents a minimum of 500 hours of continuing education and the passing of two full days of written examinations in all areas of dentistry. The Academy of Dentistry International awards fellowships based upon activity in the profession in teaching, research, and community service. Fellowship in the Academy of Dentistry International is held by only one percent of U.S. dentists.

Dr. David A. Sopinsky attended The College of New Jersey where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He went on to graduate from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2003. He is licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Dr. Sopinsky practiced in the Philadelphia area for nine years prior to joining Doctors Rosen and Dworkin. He is an Invisalign® Preferred Provider, completed the AIC Implant Training Course, and is a member of the International Team for Implantology and the ADA.

Dr. Stephen H. Sunshine graduated from Temple University School of Dental Medicine in 1966. He went on to be a captain in the US Air Force Dental Corps from 1966 through 1968. He is a proud member of the American Dental Society and was honored with a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Since 1974, Dr. Sunshine worked in private practice at an office in Pine Hill, New Jersey; he now works with Doctors Rosen and Dworkin on a part time basis. He enjoys getting to know his patients and help them achieve the beautiful smile they deserve.
