The Importance of Smiling

Flashing a bright smile can actually boost your mood and the mood of those around you. Smiling releases endorphins, which are natural mood lifters, and serotonin, known for its stress-reducing qualities.

A confident grin can also enhance your professional and personal interactions, making a positive first impression that lasts.

National Smile Month and Oral Health Awareness

National Smile Month is more than just a celebration; it’s a campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of good oral health. The goal is to educate and motivate individuals to take better care of their dental health, highlighting the connection between a healthy smile and overall well-being.

Enhancing Your Smile with Teeth Whitening

A bright, white smile can significantly boost your confidence, enhancing first impressions and making you feel great about yourself. At Drs Rosen & Dworkin, we offer professional teeth whitening services designed to revitalize your smile safely and effectively.

Tailored to individual needs, our treatments provide quick, significant improvements. Unlike over-the-counter products, our professional-grade whitening ensures optimal results without harming tooth enamel or gums. We offer both convenient at-home options and in-office treatments, including our popular rapid Zoom! Teeth Whitening. This service utilizes advanced techniques to effectively remove years of stains and discoloration in just one session.

Our state-of-the-art treatments can revitalize your smile and boost your confidence, giving you a radiant grin that you’ll be proud to show off.

Straightening Your Smile with Invisalign®

Many people associate straightening their teeth with traditional metal braces. However, Invisalign® offers an innovative and virtually invisible alternative. These custom-made aligners are not just aesthetically pleasing; they’re comfortable, convenient, and effective.

Invisalign® aligners are not fixed to your teeth; they’re completely removable. This means that you can continue to eat your favorite foods without worrying about crumbs getting trapped or damaging your aligners. Patients can also continue to brush and floss without the need for specialized tools, ensuring that maintaining dental health throughout treatment is as simple and straightforward as it’s always been.

Drs Rosen & Dworkin have extensive experience in providing Invisalign® treatments, guiding patients towards their ideal smile with this cutting-edge technology.

Maintaining a Healthy, Powerful Smile

Achieving a beautiful smile is just the beginning. Maintaining it is key. Regular dental check-ups, cleanings, and following a thorough daily oral hygiene routine are vital steps in preserving your oral health.

Not only do these practices prevent decay and disease, but they also ensure that your smile remains bright and beautiful for years to come. Drs Rosen & Dworkin are here to support you every step of the way, from preventative care to cosmetic enhancements.

Welcome to “Tooth be Told with Becki”!

If we haven’t already met, let me introduce myself.  My name is Becki, and I’m a registered dental assistant at Drs. Rosen and Dworkin.  I started my dental career in 2008 at the front desk.  I was curious to know what happened clinically, and the doctor I worked for encouraged me to get my dental radiology license in 2011.  I was encouraged again to become a CDA (Certified Dental Assistant).  Once achieved, I pursued my RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license.

As an RDA for Drs. Rosen and Dworkin since 2017, I understand how this practice is different than others.  Our longevity (over 40 years) is a testimony of how we care for our patients and families; some 4 generations deep!  As an employee, your growth is supported, and teamwork is evident (whether it’s a supportive hug or a good belly laugh!).  As part of my growth, I added the role of Safety Officer in 2024.  I was fortunate to win an essay contest hosted by The Dale Foundation in 2025, through which I received my CDIPC (Certified in Dental Infection Prevention and Control) certification and proudly add those initials to the end of my name!  What’s next???

I began writing in 2026, and have two published articles (Infection Control Today, Clean Bite: No Time for April Foolin’ With PPE | Infection Control Today April 2026, and The Dental Assistant Journal, Dental Assistants Journal August 2026  “Dental Anxiety:  Battling the Beast”).  Blessed with the gift of gab and vocabulary, Drs. Rosen and Dworkin have graciously offered me an opportunity to begin a monthly article to share with all of you!

“Tooth Be Told with Becki” will be a place where you can find interesting fun facts, tidbits about our employees, things we are celebrating, practice happenings, and information you may be curious about when it comes to dental health.  Tooth be told...I’m very excited to dive in with all of you!   Will my article in October be spooktacular?  Come along with me on this new journey and see!
