Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin, strong sheets of porcelain permanently placed over your existing teeth. Veneers beautifully correct stained, damaged, or imperfectly shaped teeth, and they can also close gaps between teeth. Porcelain veneers have an extremely realistic appearance because they are slightly translucent, allowing light to gently pass into them as with your natural teeth.
Veneers are translucent, strong, and stain-resistant. Consuming coffee, tea, tobacco, or red wine will not affect the appearance of porcelain veneers any more than natural tooth structure. Invisalign®
Invisalign provides patients with an alternative to traditional orthodontic braces. Instead of being bonded to teeth and requiring rubber bands, brackets, and other components, Invisalign is clear and removable. This system works like braces to gradually straighten your teeth by using an aligner tray made from BPA-free plastic.
There are many benefits to this system, including being able to eat and drink whatever you want during treatment. In addition, brushing and flossing will not be an issue, as you can easily remove the trays. Because there are no brackets or wires to adjust, you will also spend less time in the dental chair getting adjustments.
Each set of customized aligners is worn for 2 weeks, and we will have you visit us about every 6 weeks to check on your progress and give you the next set of aligners. Total Invisalign treatment averages between nine and 15 months, and patients will wear around 18 to 30 aligners throughout the course of treatment.
