Patient Request For Treatment

Think you may need dentures but aren’t sure where to begin? The good news is that you have more options than you think–one of those being implant-supported dentures. Implant-supported dentures, or snap-in dentures as they are referred to, are one of the up-and-coming restorative dental options available. They look and feel more natural than traditional dentures, and they allow for greater functionality as well. They might be a great option if you’re looking to strengthen your smile!

If you live in the Marlton, NJ area and you or someone you know needs dentures, the office of Drs. Rosen & Dworkin is the dental office you can trust. Contact us today to learn more!

What Are They?

Unlike traditional dentures, which are simply placed on the gums, implant-supported dentures are screwed into your gums. This is because they are supported by dental implants, which are tiny screws that are inserted into the jawbone. A piece of the screw sticks out of the gum, which allows the dentures to snap in. This combines two common restorative dental treatments to create a durable and functional solution.

How Do They Compare to Other Options?

Far more comfortable and functional than traditional dentures (but much more affordable than full-arch implants), implant-supported dentures are the perfect choice for those looking to improve their smile and day-to-day life. Read on to learn more about the amazing benefits!

Benefits of Choosing Implant-Supported Dentures

They’re Durable…

Because they are screwed into your mouth, implant-supported dentures are a sturdier and longer-lasting restorative option. They also don’t require adhesive, which can be messy and difficult to deal with, as regular dentures do.

… But They’re Also Removable

Since they snap onto your implants, this type of denture is able to be removed as often as you need to. This makes cleaning easier and more manageable!

They’re A More Affordable Option

Compared to the alternative, full-arch dental implants, implant-supported dentures are a much less expensive option. In fact, for a procedure that greatly increases the quality of life and functionality and appearance of your smile, it’s quite affordable.

They’re More Natural

Implant-supported dentures function more as natural teeth do, so they don’t feel too foreign in your mouth. Because they are also less bulky than regular dentures, they are more comfortable as well. Even more, this allows your palate to be more open so you can taste food better!

They Allow You to Enjoy More Foods!

People with traditional dentures have to avoid lots of foods like certain fruits and veggies, corn on the cob, and steak. Because implant-supported dentures are secured in the mouth, individuals who have them are able to enjoy those foods again!

They’re Better For Your Teeth In the Long Run

Unlike traditional dentures, implant-supported dentures preserve the gum tissue and bone in your mouth, preventing further bone loss. This makes them a more durable and, therefore, longer-lasting option.

Welcome to “Tooth be Told with Becki”!

If we haven’t already met, let me introduce myself.  My name is Becki, and I’m a registered dental assistant at Drs. Rosen and Dworkin.  I started my dental career in 2008 at the front desk.  I was curious to know what happened clinically, and the doctor I worked for encouraged me to get my dental radiology license in 2011.  I was encouraged again to become a CDA (Certified Dental Assistant).  Once achieved, I pursued my RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license.

As an RDA for Drs. Rosen and Dworkin since 2017, I understand how this practice is different than others.  Our longevity (over 40 years) is a testimony of how we care for our patients and families; some 4 generations deep!  As an employee, your growth is supported, and teamwork is evident (whether it’s a supportive hug or a good belly laugh!).  As part of my growth, I added the role of Safety Officer in 2024.  I was fortunate to win an essay contest hosted by The Dale Foundation in 2025, through which I received my CDIPC (Certified in Dental Infection Prevention and Control) certification and proudly add those initials to the end of my name!  What’s next???

I began writing in 2026, and have two published articles (Infection Control Today, Clean Bite: No Time for April Foolin’ With PPE | Infection Control Today April 2026, and The Dental Assistant Journal, Dental Assistants Journal August 2026  “Dental Anxiety:  Battling the Beast”).  Blessed with the gift of gab and vocabulary, Drs. Rosen and Dworkin have graciously offered me an opportunity to begin a monthly article to share with all of you!

“Tooth Be Told with Becki” will be a place where you can find interesting fun facts, tidbits about our employees, things we are celebrating, practice happenings, and information you may be curious about when it comes to dental health.  Tooth be told...I’m very excited to dive in with all of you!   Will my article in October be spooktacular?  Come along with me on this new journey and see!
